Company’s foundation.
UK clients
include Rail Track, National Westminster Bank, Southern Water plc, Thames
Water plc, RAF, Metropolitan Police and numerous Architects, Consultants,
Hospital Trusts, Developers and Local Authorities.
We are a
member of the UK Land and Hydrographic Survey Association
The TSA is a
professional organisation dedicated to raising the standards of the
survey profession in the UK. The members are regularly vetted both
financially and technically. By using a TSA approved member you are
protected by a carefully regulated membership system.
Company Background
KINGS (Kingsland Surveyors Ltd)
was established in 1996 by Geoff King following the closure of McDowell's
Consulting Engineers where Geoff was responsible for all survey projects
both in the UK and worldwide.
Geoff acquired over 30 years surveying experience which was fully utilized in
establishing KINGS and progressing the Company to its current size and reputation
for producing quality surveys. With a special interest in software programming,
he developed much of the Company's innovative survey software compatible with
today's most advanced survey technology.
The Management Team is totally committed to driving the Company forward in his
memory and their quest for achieving excellence in the field of surveying.

Anne King
Managing Director
With a background in marketing, Anne joined KINGS in 1996 as the Company Secretary and was appointed Managing Director in 2007. |

Esther Cheng BSc
LLB MRICS
Contracts Manager
Esther joined KINGS in 1999 as a
graduate Land and Architectural Surveyor. She returned to KINGS
after a spell in Hong Kong and continued with her studies at the
University of London achieving a Law degree. She became
Chartered in May 2008. Her responsibilities include project
management, tendering and quoting. |

Nigel Pavey
Technical Director
Nigel joined KINGS in 1990 and after 18 years with the Company, left in 2008 to work nearer to his home town of Ipswich. He rejoined the Company in January 2010 with overall responsibility for all survey works, Heath and Safety and Environmental Policy compliance. |

Paul Durham
Senior Survey Manager
Paul joined KINGS in 2001 and was enrolled on the sponsorship training programme in Surveying and Contruction.
He has acquired a wealth of experience in all areas of surveying and engineering and was promoted to Senior Survey Manager in 2006. |
